BHOJPUR

(   The less traveled destination. The place to visit or not? )

While travelling to Dankuta and inhaling its obscurity, Bhojpur became another intriguing destination for me.  Bhojpur was success to make a place in my "I M POSSIBLE LIST" for 2 years until when finally I made a real visit to it.

Bhojpur, one of the few pristine and less crowded hiking destinations was still to be explored and revitalized. With population of 182,459 and 1,507 square km in area, Bhojpur called me to get a life and rejuvenate energy, far from hustling and busting city life. I was obviously so happy until I figured it out that it was quite far. To be factual, Bhojpur is approximately 164 km far and 8 hour travel from Itahari with niche travelling means. Either it should be travelled by scheduled bus or summo. The road up to Dhankuta is pitched and after that graveled, snaky and lushness adventure begins.
Surrounded with green gorgeous pines, heartwarming Rhododendron, clean artistic houses, adventurous hikes, friendly villagers and juicy vegetables, Bhojpur is not an expensive travelling destination. The hotel rooms ranges from 700-1000 including lunch and dinner. The main hyped places are Tempe Dadha, Suntale Dadha, Taskar bajjar, the airport and Siddhakali Temple. Suntale Dadha  above the hills surrounded by pine trees is perfect hiking destination is inevitably beautiful and tranquilizing.

Tempe Dadha almost same as Suntale but is quite far from Bhojpur Bazzar. It takes 4 hours by summo/bus to reach there which later is paid by eye catchy scenery and fresh breezy air. The temperature is chilling in morning and night, normal in day with fresh air and blue sky, probably best destination for relaxation of mind and heart. To be precise, Bhojpur is the place of serene and blissful nature, cared and nurtured by local peoples and undeniably beautiful with hills, lushness pine trees, lovely Rhododendron, fresh air, cool temperature and bluish sky.  Bhojpur is the place definitely to visit once in a life time.
